Kristina Bartashova received her Master in Performing Arts in 2014 from the State Academy of Theater Arts RGISI in St. Petersburg, Russia’s oldest art university. In Vienna she graduated from the Krauss Drama School with a state diploma and studied Theatre,- Film- & Media Science from 2011 till 2015 at the University of Vienna.

Already as a student, Kristina was working on stage at the Masterskaya State Theatre in St. Petersburg in the 8-hour drama The Silent Don. After graduating, she became a member of the ensemble. For the work on The Silent Don, the ensemble received the highest theatre awards from the Russian State under the direction of the director, their Master Gregory M. Kozlov.

In the last few years Kristina has been seen internationally as an artist in various film & dance productions in Austria, Russia and the USA: And Quiet Flows The Don, Princess Turandot, Miss Else, Uncle Vanja, The Blue Bird, The Dream Fabric, Hidden Movement… As an acting and dance pedagog she gives Master Classes in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Vienna.
